CHARLES H. FUNKHOUSER, 72, of 850 Jefferson Blvd., died at Colton Manor Nursing Home on Monday evening. He was born in Hagerstown, the son of Ralph and Helen (Baker) Funkhouser.

He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, BPO Elks No. 378, Tall Cedars of Lebanon No. 95, Friendship Lodge No. 84, AF&AM, and the Knights Templar.

Surviving are one son, Glenn E. Funkhouser, New Carrollton; one brother Frederick Funkhouser, Hagerstown, one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Teach, Williamsport; and two grandsons.

Funeral services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home; burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
