Note: 1) According to his death rec, he was b. the 28th of December, 1770; I am unable to find the 1850 census. 2) This part of West Roxbury was called "Jamaica End". Years later, parts of Jamaica End were renamed as Jamaica Plain and Roslindale. This cemetery remained in what is actually "West Roxbury".

Original cemetery location: "Cemetery was closed in 1883. The graves were removed to Mount Hope and Forest Hills cemeteries and the area converted to a playground in 1890."
