Mrs. Mabel Verhest, former McKeesport resident, died early today in Michigan. Friends are to be received at the Willig Funeral Home here beginning at 1pm tomorrow. Requiem high mass will be offered at 9am on Thursday at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Leo A. McCrory officiating. Burial will be in the New St. Joseph Cemetery. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Dietz of Southfield, Mich., Mrs. Laura Bentley of McKeesport and Mrs. Florence Miller of Romulus, Mich; two sons, Joseph of Youngstown and Ernest of Ft. Wayne, Ind; 25 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a brother, George Garris of Greensburg.
