Mrs. Gibbons was born Nov. 2, 1886, in Denton and died Wednesday morning in Flow Memorial Hospital. She married J.H. Gibbons in Denton June 3, 1908. She attended Denton public schools and North Texas State University and was a former teacher in Denton County schools. Mrs. Gibbons had been a member of the Argyle Baptist Church since 1925.
Survivors are three sons, Warren S. Gibbons and David C. Gibbons both of Fort Worth, and John H. (Jack) Gibbons of Argyle; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Robinson of Argyle and Mrs. Margaret Jones of Fort Worth; a brother, Raymond Sparks of Pilot Point; two sisters, Mrs. Olia James of Norman, Okla. and Mrs. Ruth George of Denton: 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
