On May 3, 1832, Elizabeth married John Snyder Pringle born Oct. 23, 1804 near McKee's Gap, Blair County, PA died June 6, 1884. John is the son of William and Elizabeth (Snyder) Pringle. John married after Elizabeth's death. He married Sarah Ellen Snider they had ten children. John was a builder of flat bottom boats. John was very successful and his boat were used on the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. He built the Arabia steamboat which sunk in the Missouri, was covered with mud, discovered, dug up and is not in a museum in Kansas City, MO.

William Pringle 1836-1865, served in the Civil War
