The son of Obadiah Basham and Celia Dowell Basham. Married Thursia Hardin on Dec. 8, 1828 in Lodiburg, Ky.

Cass 19; Daniel H. 18; Henry 17; Alsey 16; Celia 13; Joel 12; Richard B. 10; Sarah A. 9; Francis Marion 5; Jacob D. 2 (all children born in Ky) Alsey Hardin, 83, born in PA. This is Daniel Hardin's widow, Alsey Jolly Hardin - mother of Thursia Hardin Basham.

Lodiburg: Uncle Frank and Aunt Kitty Basham had started in their buggy to visit Mr. Jerry Norton last week, unfortunately the buggy turned over and both were severely hurt. The Breckinridge News (Cloverport, Kentucky); Wednesday, 20 July 1892; pg. 3

Lodiburg: Mr. Frank Basham, one of our oldest and best respected citizens, died Saturday evening at five o'clock and was buried Sunday evening at two o'clock. A large crowd was in attendance. The relatives have the sympathy of the entire community.
