Samuel Stanley, age 56, Mt. Vernon, O., died at 3 a. m. yesterday in the home of a sister, Mrs. Grace Pfohl, Anderson rural route four. He had been an invalid for twelve years. Mr. Stanley was brought to the sister's home a week ago for a visit and he was stricken seriously ill last Thursday.
The body was taken to the Valorous C. Rector funeral home at markleville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Monday in the sister's home. The Rev. Virgil Yohe, pastor of the Ovid Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Walk cemetery.
Survivors are a son, John Stanley of Mt. Vernon; three sisters, Mrs Pfohl at whose home he died, Mrs. Lola Eifert of Anderson, and Mrs. Charles Lane of Anderson rural route four;a brother, Calvin Stanley of Markleville rural route one, and several nieces and nephews.
