She was born October 9, 1944 in Chicago, daughter of Bernard A. and Bernice Colby Dietz. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Linda Dietz and one brother, Bernie Dietz.
Surviving are one son, Jeff Thompson; one daughter, Elaine (Steve) Smith; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Gail (Dennis) Nolan; two brothers, Brian (Ellen) Dietz and Bruce (Mary) Dietz and many nieces and nephews.
She worked in the office for 50 years at Beer Nuts, Inc. in Bloomington.
