Jordan C. Elam 23, of Columbia died Saturday, March 8, 2014 as a result of an automobile accident.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Friendship Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday March 14, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel.
Jordan was born July 31, 1990 to Shirley Patrick and Jeffrey Hayes.
Survivors include his parents Dean and Shirley Patrick of St. Louis; a son, Kendred Malik Elam-Buchanan of Columbia; two brothers, Joshua Elam and Ramelus Bradley both of Columbia; four sisters, Destini Patrick and Whitney Patrick, both of St. Louis, Mo; Demetria Waller of Decatur, Ga., and Dalisha Waller of Columbia; maternal Grandmother, Patricia Tyler of Columbia; paternal grandfather, Jimmy Turner of Columbia and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins of Columbia and elsewhere.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Shakara Hayes; paternal grandparents Louis and Anna Elam; paternal grandmother, Janice Hayes; an uncle, Albert Elam; and an aunt, Janet Elam.
Memorials are suggested to the benefit of Kendred Malik Elam-Buchanan; checks should be made payable to Keneshia Buchanan.
