480th Bomb Squadron, 336th Bomb Group
from Lake Charles Army Airfield.
He was one of seven airmen killed when
B-26C Marauder #41-35128 crashed over
water, seven miles south of Grand
Chenier, Louisiana.

Son of:

• Augustine James Colmey 1890 – 1961
• Jane Louise Costello 1893 – 1973


The airmen who perished were:

2nd Lt. Justin R Dickson
Sgt. Robert M Hendrickson
