Albert L. Blocker, 84, a carpenter, died of heart failure Sunday at his home. Services are 2 p.m. today at Stringer Funeral Home in Crystal Springs with burial in New Zion Cemetery. Mr. Blocker retired from Baptist Medical Center after 25 years in maintenance as a carpenter. He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Pearl Masonic Lodge. He moved to Crystal Springs in 1979.
Survivors include: wife, Gertrude; son, Perry Blocker of Crystal Springs; brother, Gordon Blocker of Tulsa, Okla.; and three grandsons.
