She moved from St. Charles, Missouri to accompany her husband, Willoughby W. Orrick, who was a government patent examiner. He was cremated apparently without burial.

Their one surviving child, Roger Orrick (1870-1921) moved to San Bernardino, California, where he worked in a library.
