1. John Howard who married Susannah Rockhould
2. Matthew Howard III, died intestate 1700
3. Sarah Howard married 1st John Worthington and 2nd John Brice
4. Samuel Howard, died after 1687, but before 1691

His will was written Oct. 31, 1691 and probated Jan. 12, 1692.

Howard, Mathew, Anne Arundel Co., 3rd Oct., 1691; 12th Jan., 1692.
To son John and heirs, 160 Acres, "Howard's First Choice," commonly called "Howard's Quarter Plantation;" 1/2 of 500 Acres., "The Adventure," and 1/2 of 500 Acres., "Poplar Plain."
To son Mathew and heirs, residue of "The Adventure" and of "Poplar Plain" afsd.; also part of "Hopkin's Plantation," and 22 1/2 Acres of "Howard's Addition."
To dau. Sarah Worthington and heirs, 276 Acres, "Howard's Range;" 200 Acres, "Howard's Pasture," on S. side Magothy R., and 130 Acres dwelling plantation (unnamed).
To son John Worthington, to grandsons, John Worthington, John and Matthew Howard, and to 3 brothers, viz., John, Samuel, and Philip Howard, and their wives, personalty.
Son Matthew and dau. Sarah Worthington residuary legatees of estate, real and personal. Said Mathew to be of age at 21 yrs.

His daughter Sarah Howard Worthington Brice inherited a large portion of land from her father and her two husbands. She died at the old Worthington homestead, just opposite the Naval Academy.

Howard Coat of Arms: Gules, on a band between six crosses-crosslet, fitches, argent, an escutcheon or, charged with a demi-lion, rampant within a double treasure, counter flory of the first. Crest: On a chapeau gules, turned up ermine, a lion statant, guardant, the tail extended, or. Motto: Desir na repese. References: Burke's General Armory and Fairbairn's Crest of Leading Families.
