He was born in Newark. He grew up in Vermont and Lakehurst, N.J. and lived in California before moving to Parsippany in 1966.
Harold served in the United States Air Force from 12/24/1943 until retiring on 5/31/1965.
He was the owner of Allied Gasket Craft Company in East Orange for many years before retiring.
Harold received his Master's Degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickenson University and he was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Parsippany.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Queenie Veronica (nee-Caslin); his dear daughters: Debra Gantert, Gail Storkel and her husband Victor, and Linda Deighan and her husband Kevin; and his three cherished grandchildren, and five treasured great-grandchildren.
