Kenneth (Kenny) H. Marmon, age 53, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014. He was born July 29, 1960, in Memphis, Tenn. Kenny was a 1981 graduate of Maryville High School, and he graduated Draughn's Junior College in 1983. He was an avid reader, and he especially enjoyed U.S. history. Kenny was a former employee of Sea Ray Boats and TSMI.
Preceded in death by grandparents, Herman and Fay Heacker, Kenneth G. and Ellen Marmon; and his cats, whom he dearly loved.
Survivors include mother, Dr. Dora H. Marmon; father and stepmother, Dr. Kenneth W. and Joan Marmon; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steven and Lori Marmon, Samuel and Karen Marmon, and Greg and Cassy Marmon; nephews, Corey, Alex and Joshua Marmon; nieces, Emily, Abby, and Stacy Marmon. Kenny also will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Holy Cross Angelican Church on Herron Road in Farragut with Father Ernie Pinto officiating. A reception will follow the service in the parish hall.
