Donald Carney, 74, of 2809 Locust St., died Saturday in the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital. Services were held Tuesday morning in the Chapel of the Kerrville Funeral Home with Rev. Worth Thompson officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Memories.
He was born Jan. 2, 1903 in Jacksboro and had lived here 43 years. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World and a carpenter by trade.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Loretta Dee Treadwell of Kerrville; a son, Roland Nolan Carney, of Lancaster, Calif.; four grandchildren; two brothers and one sister.
