EUNICE~It is with great sadness that the family of Addie Hundley announces her passing on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Prompt Succor Nursing Home in Opelousas with loving family by her side. She was 95. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:30 pm on Monday, February 24, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Msgr. Robert Romero Celebrant.

Addie was a dedicated parishioner of the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice where she was a Catechism teacher and a member of the Catholic Daughters. She was a wonderful cook and loved to read and travel but most of all she was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend. Addie's memory will live on in all who loved her, especially her four children, Ann Domi, Druben Hundley and wife, Sherry, Charlene George and husband, Jack and Mark Hundley and wife, Vicky all of Eunice; two sisters, Mona Fontenot and Irma Hilbrecht and husband, Bruce all of Baton Rouge. She was blessed with thirteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Clyde Hundley; her parents, Busie and Rita Ardoin LaFleur; a daughter, Frances Blanchard; four brothers; two sisters; a great granddaughter and a great grandson; two son-in-laws, Douglas Domi and Hubert Blanchard.

A special thanks to Prompt Succor Nursing Home and very special thanks to the nurses and nurses' aide on St. Joseph Hall and La Hospice & Palliative Care.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, February 24th from 8:00 am until time of services.
