Nica H. Espitia
Nica H. Espitia, 75, died at Yavapai Community Hospital Thursday. Dec. 9.
Born in Mexico, Mrs. Espitia came to the United States 70 years ago. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Chuch.
She is survived by four sons, Frank, Arthur, Rudy, and Walter all of Prescott; nine daughters, Anita Acosta, Josie Gallegos, Jennie Duran, Jessie Poblano and Esther Mendibles of Prescott; Clara Tafoya of San Manuel, Sally Pozos and Irene Sanchez of Superior and Mercy Lara of Phoenix.
Other survivos include 52 grndchildren 35 great grandchildren, a sister, Enedina Hernandez Apolinar and one brother Domingo Hernandez.
Rosary will be recited at Memory Chapel today at 7 p.m. and Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Burial will follow in the family plot at Mountain View Cemetery.
Her sister Enedina (Hernandez) Apolinar 1919 - 1995 is buried in this cemetery, She is the wife of Fortino Estrada Apolinar 1915 - Apr 1993 Plot: F/64/F
Her brother Domingo Hernandez is also buried in this cemetery 04 Aug 1895 - 22 Aug 1983 Plot: D/54/A
