She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Hutzell Sr., in 1980.
She was a homemaker. She was a Protestant. She was a member of AMVETS Post 10 Ladies Auxiliary in Hagerstown.
She is survived by one daughter, Bernadette M. Gettel of Hagerstown; four sisters, Alice Smith and Mary C. Kirby, both of Hagerstown, Edna Hall of Fort Mill, S.C., and Ethel Thomas of Middletown, Pa.; one brother, Guy Kirby of Williamsport; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth E. Hutzell Jr.; three sisters, Delsey Nalley, Georgie Kirby and Ruth Hixon; and six brothers, Clayton Kirby, Ernest Kirby, Jack Kirby, Charles Kirby, James Kirby and Richard Kirby.
Services were held at Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport; burial was in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.

Williamsport -- KENNETH EUGENE HUTZELL SR., 58, of 22 Hoffman Drive, died Saturday at his home. He was born in Boonsboro, the son of Elmer C. and Ethel Moss Hutzell.
He had been employed for 39 years with Fairchild Industries. He was a veteran of WWII, serving with the u.S. Army. He was a member of the 99th Infantry Division Association.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Esther Kirby Hutzell; daughter, Mrs. Bernadetta M. Stockslager, Hagerstown; son, Kenneth E. Hutzell Jr., Marlowe, WV; one half-sister, Mrs. Kethleen Bayer, Chambersburg, Pa.; brother, Leroy C. Hutzell, Middletown; and one half-brother, Elwood G. Hutzell, NY; and four grandchildren.
Services were held at the Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport. Burial in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
