She was the daughter of the late Paul H. and Helen M. (Smith) Ackerman.
Susan was retired from the Hanover Shoe Co. after 42 years employed and was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in McSherrystown.
Surviving is one brother, Charles R. Ackerman of Hanover, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise B. Smith.
