Professor of Law, Adamson University College of Law, Is one of the nine colleges of Adamson University, a private Catholic university located in Manila, Philippines. In 1982, Prof. Ponciano Subido assumed the Deanship of the College.

Adamson University announces with deep sorrow the passing of Dean Ponciano Subido, former dean of the College of Law, on July 24 at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife Cora, five children, children-in-law, and six grandchildren.
Dean Subido headed the College of Law from 1982 to 2002 and was a founding partner of the Subido Pagente Certeza Mendoza & Binay Law Firm. He was also a councilor of the fifth district of Manila and became the national president of the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) during his time as dean at Adamson. He subsequently became President Emeritus of the PCL.
He was also former president of the Philippine Association of Law Schools, founding president of the ASEAN Law Schools Association and the Philippine Jury Movement, and founding chairman and president of ANI-Pilipinas Party-List movement.
His remains lie in state at Chapel 1, The Heritage Park, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. His remains will be cremated on Saturday, July 28, at 9:00 AM.
Everyone is requested to pray for the eternal repose of Dean Subido.

Dean Subido is a holder of AB-BSE, LLB and two (2) LLM degrees. He is a Professional Lecturer and Bar Reviewer in Constitutional Law and Remedial Law.
He was Dean of the College of Law of Adamson University for more than two (2) decades. He was a member of the City Council of Manila where he served as the Majority Floor Leader. He was the founding President and Chairman of the Metro Manila Councilors League as well as the President Emeritus of the Philippine Councilors League. He was also the founding president of the ASEAN Law Schools Association and the Philippine Jury Movement. He likewise served as President of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines - Manila II Chapter, Manuel L. Quezon University Faculty Club and the Manila Downtown Lions Club.
Through the years, Dean Subido likewise held the following positions: Assistant to the President for Administration of Adamson University, National Committee Chairman for Constitutional Amendments of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Philippine delegate to the Local Government Assembly in Germany, Vice President of the Manuel L. Quezon University Alumni Association (School of Law). He also authored the book entitled "It's Time . . . Community Justice (A Book on the Jury System for the Philippines)".
In 2006, Dean Subido was awarded as the Most Outstanding Alumnus of the Manuel L. Quezon University, School of Law.
He is presently an Of Counsel of the Law Firm
