Pfc. Joseph W. Balboni, 20, son of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Balboni of 59 Milton St. Indian Orchard was killed in action in Korea on Nov. 6, his parents were informed by U.S. Army authorities yesterday. Pfc. Balboni was a member of the U.S. 9th Infantry, had been previously hospitalized for a gun shot through the wrist in August and while in the hospital suffered an attack of Malaria. He had advised his parents later that his injuries were slight.
