Graveside service for Eugene Braxton Hart, Jr. (73) of Jacksonville, FL, will be held 11:00AM Friday, June 29, 2001 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 800 Hammond Blvd., Jacksonville, FL with Pastor Paul Haney, of Trinity Baptist Church of Jacksonville, FL officiating. Family will receive friends Thursday (TODAY) from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Mr. Hart was born April 6, 1928 in Clint County, VA, the son of the late Eugene Braxton Hart, Sr. and Mrs. Hallie Lee Hart, and died June 25, 2001 in Orange Park, FL. Mr. Hart moved to the Jacksonville area and went to work with the Merita Bread Company, retiring as a supervisor in 1988, with 34 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Lois Carol Hart who died in 1992. Mr. Hart leaves behind his children; Angela Tyre, Joyce Scheider, Steven Scheider, Chris Wingate, Scott Wingate, Donnie Wingate, Teresa Clark, Carlton Hart; 15 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
