Marvin Louis was born February 8, 1921 in Scales Mound, Illinois and was the son of Herman John and Minnie Belle (Teppert) Bohnsack. He attended Scales Mound school. Marvin married Ruth Audrey Meyer on April 19, 1945 in Hanover and four children were born to this union: Terry Ray Bohnsack, Timothy "Tim" Joseph Bohnsack, Karen Ann (Bohnsack) Glasgow, and Mark Alan Bohnsack. He farmed grain and livestock in the Hanover and Elizabeth area for many years. Marvin died November 25, 2005 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
