Mr. Tim W. Anderson, 52, of Alma died Wednesday night (January 27, 2010) at Kindred Hospital, North Florida in Green Cove Springs, FL following a brief illness.

He was a native and life-long resident of Bacon County. He was a 1975 Graduate of Bacon County High School and was a member of Ten Mile Baptist Church of Alma. He was employed as a Supervisor with Hazlehurst Mills for six years before becoming disabled in 1998.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-seven years, Rebecca W. Anderson of Alma, a step son, Anthony Leggett (wife Wendy) of Alma; two granddaughters, Tiffany Bratcher (husband Pablo Olguin) of Tifton, and Miranda Leggett of Alma; three great grandchildren, Krystal Bratcher, Gabriel Olguin and Julyssa Olguin all of Tifton; his mother, Reba Johnson Anderson of Lumber City; his father, Pirkle Anderson of Waycross; two sisters, Debbie Varnadore (husband Clyde) and Gay Davenport (husband Joe); two nieces, Brandy Davenport and Alisha Varnadore; two nephews, Chris Davenport (wife Ashley), and Jeremy Varnadore all of Hazlehurst; and uncles, aunts and cousins.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday (January 30, 2010) at Ten Mile Baptist Church of Alma.
