Raymond served as a Radio Technician First Class, U.S.S. Tullibee (SS-284), U.S. Navy during World War II.

He resided in Strafford County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

Raymond was declared "Missing In Action" when the Tullibee was sunk by its own torpedo north of Palau during the war. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Son of Alfred J. Grenier & Maude (Horne) Grenier.

Raymond also has a "Cenotaph" in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Farmington, New Hampshire.
