Lawrence D. Davis, 80, of Arlington, Va., a native of Scott County, passed away on Friday, March 1, 1985. Mr. Davis, who was born at Robbins, was the uncle of Dr. George L. Kline of Oneida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy West Davis. Survivors also a son, Douglas Davis; two daughters: Shirley Thorpe and Patricia Quinn; two sisters: Letha Ellis and Flonnie Kline, both of Robbins; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Monday, March 4, at the Ives-Pearson Funeral Home in Arlington, Va., with Dr. Randall Robinson officiating. Burial was in the Cedar Hills Cemetery in Suitland, Md.
