She spent most of her adult life in Corpus Christi area. For the past twenty-five-years, she has lived in Happy Harbor Housing in La Porte where she had many good friends. In her younger years, she enjoyed reading, playing games, and gardening in her small patio. She loved to travel with her daughter but she was always eager to go home to the apartment she truly loved. She adored animals especially her cat Doodles and the Pomeranian she called her grandson Chico.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Annis Farrar, son-n-law John Phillip Bearden, one sister and three brothers. Leola is survived by her daughter Barbara Bearden.
A Grave Side Ceremony will be held at 2:30pm on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
