Clinton Williamson of Lambert, 75, retired employee of Cooper Tire after 20 years, died Friday, March 31, 1995, of heart failure at his home. Services were at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 3, at National Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Clarksdale. He was a World War II Army veteran.


Mr. Williamson, the husband of Vera Melton Williamson, also leaves a daughter, Liz Simmons of Winter Haven, FL; three sons, Mike Williamson, Doug Williamson, and Cletus Williamson, all of Clarksdale; five stepdaughters, Cora Lee Miller of Sumner, Polly Gaston of Starkville, Rachel Cummings of Water Valley, and Hazel Avant and Lenece Avant, both of Eupora; two brothers, Charles Williamson and Sam Williamson, both of Grenada; 29 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
