Benjamin Franklin Eynon, 83, of Dauphin County, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2014. "Pappy", father of Margaret, David, and Ben, Jr., and loving husband to Roasalie for 58 wonderful years, left this world at his Fishing Creek Valley home with his loving family around him.
As a Korean War veteran, he was a member of the Halifax American Legion and the Halifax VFW. He worked at the Steelton Steel Mill for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. He will be greatly missed by his family that includes 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be Friday, February 14, 2014 from 10-11am at Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, Harrisburg, with a funeral service to begin at 11am. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
