JOHN ANDERSON PASSES AWAY
John Anderson, a former resident of this county but at his death of resident of Erskine, Alberta, Canada, passed away Wednesday morning of last week at his home in Canada.
He had been in failing health all the past summer and had gone to a hospital in Calgary, Canada but had apparently gotten along nicely and the sudden death was unexpected.
His daughter, living in Omaha, was notified the first of last week of his illness and left immediately for his bedside but we are informed, arrived too late to see him alive.
Deceased would have been sixty three years of age on Nov. 8, had he lived. He was married twice, his first wife passing away and he later married Miss Zelma Warrick of this vicinity. They moved to Canada something like fourteen years ago and through industry and thrift had become comfortably fixed.
He leaves besides the wife, four children by the first wife and five by the second wife.
The funeral services were held last Friday at two p.m. and interment was made at his home town in Canada.
Mr. Anderson will be remembered by many people of this vicinity as he lived here for a number of years and has many warm friends in the vicinity in which he lived.
