PIONEER TWO RIVERS WOMAN DIES SUDDENLY
Death came almost without warning of Mrs. Fred Mertens, pioneer resident of Two Rivers, at her home there yesterday. Although Mrs. Mertens had been afflicted by illness for a long time, there was no thought of her condition being serious and her death was a great shock. Mrs. Martens, up to within a few hours of her death, was up and about as usual.

Decedent was 63 years of age and had spent her entire life at Two Rivers where she was widely known and esteemed highly. She is survived by her husband and eight children. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at the Lutheran church at Two Rivers.
