Charles L. "Pete" Carr, 51, was the son of Charles F. and Edith O'Daffer Carr. He married Betty McConkey July 31, 1956 in Weldon. Illinois. She survives.
Also surviving are two stepsons: Gary McConkey and Bill McConkey, six brothers: Dale, Bob and Jim, Bill, Jack; and Don, eight sisters, Doris Maxwell, Dorothy Ferrill, Sharon Shaw, Kay Wachob, Audrey Adams, Carolyn Perkins, Annie Hall, Helen Swigert, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Carr was a farmer. He was a member of the Weldon United Methodist Church where he was chairman of the board of trustees, a volunteer firefighter for Weldon Fire District and a charter member of the American Agriculture Movement.
