Rosetta F. Prough Is Called By Death
Mrs. Rosetta F. Prough, former resident of Lafayette, died Wednesday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock at the home of a son, J. Franklin Prough, 323 Nineteenth street, Logansport, with whom she had been making her home since last March. Mrs. Prough had been ill for a year and a half.
Born in Fairfield township, near Archerville, on July 13, 1867, the daughter of Jesse L. and Mary Jane (Singley) Fleming, Mrs. Prough's life was spent in Fairfield township and Lafayette. She was a member of St. Paul's M. E. church.
Surviving are the son, a sister, Miss Olive Fleming, of this city; two brothers, John J. Fleming, of this city, and Jacob S. Fleming, of Mulberry, and three grandchildren.
The body was brought to Lafayette, where funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Bradshaw funeral home, Eight and North streets. Rev. H. Earl Moore, of St. Paul's M. E. church will officiate; interment in the Springvale cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 o'clock Friday afternoon.
