Clinton was survived by his three children, Jeffrey Todd Smith of Birmingham, AL, D'Andrea L. Holder of Republic, MO, and Kandris S. Ratcliff of Prairieville, LA.
He resided in Ruston, LA. when he fell ill and passed away at the Overton Brooks V.A. Hospital in Shreveport, LA.
A memorial service was held at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston, La. on January 31, 1995, officiated by Rev. Mike Sanders.
Clinton was a member of the Air Force Police Honor Guard stationed in Washington, DC and England from 1951 to 1955.
