Samuel the son of Alexander & Elisabeth BAKER borne 16 (11) 1637.

Samuel of Alexander Baker aged about 7 yr. 9 mos 5 day 8th mo. [Oct 1645; Baptized]
Boston Birth Records

Samuel Baker was born on 16 Jan 1637 possibly in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts. He was christened on 5 Aug 1645 in First Church, Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. He died before May 1685 as he is not listed as being alive in his fathers will.

This DNA test was conducted on a well-documented descendant of Joshua Baker of New London CT, who is believed to have been the son of Alexander Baker of Boston. Contemporary records in New London speak of "Joshua, son of Alexander Baker of Boston." Assuming that the Alexander referenced was the Alexander Baker who came to Boston in 1635, the enormous disparity in the DNA results establishes both that Thomas Baker could not have descended from Alexander Baker and that the Samuel Baker who married Elinor Winslow was also not a descendant of Alexander Baker.
