LEXINGTON - Ruth Lee Alphin, age 89, died Sunday, November 3, 1991, at Oak Hill Nursing Home, Staunton. She was born in Rockbridge County, March 16, 1902, and was the daughter of the late Dr. Henry H. and Carrie Logan Lee. She was a member of Lexington Baptist Church and the was the widow of H. Arthur Alphin. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William C. (Gloria) Flournoy, Staunton; one granddaughter, Suzanne Cappuzzo, Staunton; one grandson, Cabell Flournoy, Harrisonburg. Graveside service will be Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Leonard officiating. There will be no family night at the funeral home. Harrison Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
