Mr. Franis Locke and Cora Jane Campney were married at the Baptist parsonage on Friday. They are residing with the bridegrooms parents at Sabael.

INDIAN LAKE — Cora J. Locke, 79, of West Main Street, died Thursday morning, Sept. 13, 2012, at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born Sept. 21, 1932, in Indian Lake, she was the daughter of Parley and Helen (Durking) Campney.

Cora attended Indian Lake Central School.

She married Francis Locke on June 23, 1950, at First Baptist Church of Indian Lake. Mr. Locke died in 1982.

Cora enjoyed playing bingo, knitting, especially afghans and taking drives around the countryside looking for wildlife.

She was a member of the Parker-Benton American Legion Post No. 1392 Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her husband, Francis; two sisters, Betty Gratton and Gladys Austin; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.

Arrangements by the Miller Funeral Home, 6357 State Route 30, Indian Lake.

Burial will be in Cedar River Cemetery, Indian Lake.
