Funeral services for Mrs. Edyth Rantz, 53, wife of Fred Rantz of route 2, Eau Claire, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Dean chapel. The Rev. G. Kreutzenstein will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Three Oaks, Mich.
Mrs. Rantz died at her home, at 3:30 o'clock yesterday morning after a brief illness.
Three children, Geraldine, Gerald, and Fred live at the Rantz home in Eau Claire. Others are Mrs. Pearl Craft, South Bend; Mrs. Doris Craft, Muskegon; Mrs. Elizabeth Lindbergh, Eau Claire; Edward Rantz, St. Joseph; Emery Rantz, Benton Harbor; Gilbert Rantz, Eau Claire; and Elmer Rantz, Fort Bragg, N.C. One son, Pfc. Dale Rantz was killed in Action in Luxembourg on Dec. 30, 1944.
A sister, Mrs. Grace Hull lives in Benton Harbor. Her mother, Mrs. Rose Tatro, is a resident of Sawyer, Mich.
Mrs. Rantz had ten grandchildren.
