Jesse Lowe White was the son of Albert and Mary Alice (Lowe) White.

He was married on March 19, 1913 to Mary Ellen Swatsworth in Altoona, PA, by Alderman Casey, per an article in the Altoona Tribune dated March 20, 1913.

He enlisted in the Army on April 9, 1913, presumably unexpectly by his wife, leaving her behind.

A divorce was decreed on Aug 1, 1917 based on desertion per Altoona Tribune article dated Aug 2, 1917.

He served in the Army in Hawaii, Border Campaign and World War I. He died of pneumonia at Altoona Hospital after having emergency surgery on Dec 21, 1923.

At the time of his death he was survived by the following brothers and sisters: Elijah, Martin "Leuther," Mrs. Samuel Williams, all of Pittsburgh; William of Altoona; Mrs. A.M. Sellers of Hollidaysburg, and Mary Ellen Reeseman (wife of John Reeseman) of Bald Eagle, PA.

Funeral services were held at the Graham parlors by Rev. A.N. Fasick.
