The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Letha was born on Jan. 19, 1906, in Wilkes County. Letha dedicated her life to the Lord. She was the oldest member of the local Salvation Army with over 65 years of service. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed her flowers and gardening.
Letha was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar F. Moore Sr. and one son, Richard V. Moore.
She is survived by three sons, Edgar F. "Red" Moore Jr. and wife, Carol of Greensboro, Milton Moore and wife , Blanca of Arcadia, Fla., and Frank "Frankie" Moore and wife, Glenda of Greensboro; two daughters, Lenida M. Bolen of Greensboro and Colleen Shutters and husband, Paul of Quicksburg, Va.; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren also survive.
