Obituary, Frederick Post (Frederick, MD), 5 Dec 1946: "Abijah Seal, well known farmer of near Etchison, died Wednesday at the Frederick City Hospital of complications aged 65 years. He had been undergoing treatment there for the past week. Besides his wife, Mrs. Amanda Seal, he is survived by four sons, seven daughters, five brothers and eight sisters. Funeral services will be held at the late residence Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will be in the family burial ground. Roy W. Barber, funeral director."
