Herkimer Woman Fatally Burned - Herkimer - April 2 - Mrs. Amanda Engells {Ingalls} died Sunday afternoon as a result of burns received earlier in the day, when her night clothing caught fire from a gas stove which she had lit to heat her room. Mrs. Engells whose home is in Mayfield came to this village two or three weeks ago to visit her daughter, Mrs. Frank M. Baker {Stella Fonda}.
