Sibyl was the daughter of Opie Kenney & Jennie Walker. She married Lesley Edward Farley on May 12, 1946.

Sibyl and Lesley lived in Whitby, West Virginia. They were the parents of eight children:

Sibyl Ophelia Walker Farley

Sibyl Farley, of Jonben, WV went to be with Jesus and her loved ones on July 9, 2011. She has won the victory over a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Born May 20, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Opie Kenny and Jennie Reba Walker.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting. She lived in Jonben for 44 years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lesley Edward “Buck” Farley; a daughter Kathern Marie Farley; a sister Vera Walker and a brother Opie Jr. Walker.
She is survived by one sister, Reba Burgess of Wakeman, OH; five sons, Clayton (Teresa) Farley of Lebanon, TN, Harold “Pete” (Denise) Farley of Farley Hill, Kenny (Tina) Farley of Princewick, Lesley and Roger Farley of Jonben; two daughters Ruby (Joe) Farley of Daniels and Joyce (Oris Lee) Lilly of Cool Ridge; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Williams Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sophia with Pastor Ernie Junior Moye officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Steven Lilly, Michael Cooper, Jeff Hayworth, Michael Frost, Harold Farley and Eric Hutchens standing in for his father Bobby Hutchens.
