Muncy and Sarah Caroline (Dennis)
Muncy.

The grandson of William S. "Billie"
Muncy & Mary 'Polly' (Sizemore) Muncy.

Rufus married "Leona" Pat (McKnight)
in 1933, in Wyoming. Leona was b.
March 18, 1917 & d. 9 Mar 1993,
at Wenden, La Paz County, AZ.
Leona was the daughter of Herman
McKnight and Eunice Wayne Ingram.
Rufus & Leona had no children.

Dec. 5, 1936, Rufus & Leona were
living at 1902 Stanley Ave., Long
Beach, CA, he was employed by
the Merritt, Chapman & Scott Co.,
of San Pedro, CA

April 1, 1940, Midway, Honolulu,
Hawaii, Rufus, 28, is working on
a construction project, as a Pile
Driver, he had been working 28
weeks (7 mos.) & had earned $1700.

On May 8, 1940 Rufus boarded the
Mariposa & departed for Long Beach,
CA. The ship arrived in Long
Beach, on May 13, 1940.
