OBITUARY
FRANK AARON
Rotan (RNS) Frank Aaron, 87 of Buffalo Gap and formerly of Hobbs, a retired farmer, died at 1 a.m. Wednesday in Happy Haven Nursing Home in Abilene. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Weathersbee Funeral Chapel.
The Rev. J.H. Skiles, pastor of Hobbs Baptist Church, and the Rev. Thurman Upshaw pastor area missionary will officiate. Burial will be in Hobbs Cemetery.
Born February 22, 1887, in Rome, GA. Mr. Aaron moved to Hobbs with his parents in 1891. He married Hattie Masters, Nov. 19, 1911, in Hobbs.
Mr. Aaron had been a member of the Hobbs School board and was a member of Hobbs Baptist Chruch.
Survivors include his wife, five daughters, Geraldine Hartsfield of Abilene, Mrs. Jonnie Hartsfield and Mrs. Maxine Paulk of Buffalo Gap, Mrs. Mary Lou Parker of San Angelo, and Mrs. Margaret Shearer of Hamlin; four sons, Jack of Rotan, Bill of Snyder, Ted of Brownwood, and Joe of Euless; a sister; Mrs. Mary Anderson of Rotan; 27 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Nephews will serve as pallbears.
