Mrs. G.C. Gillan, 78 died at the St. Joseph Hospital, Concordia. Irma came to
Concordia in 1922 from Exeter, Neb.
She was a member of the Christian Church, the Naomi Circle of the church,
the order of Eastern star, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Veterans of foreign
Wars Auxiliary, the Women of the Moose and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Betty Humes, Concordia; two sons, LeRoy, Moberly, Mo., and Burton, Boulder, Colo.; four sisters, Mrs. Bert Schwab, Exeter, Neb.; Mrs. Lydia Tucker, Concordia; Mrs. Harry Schilling, Lincoln. Neb.; and Mrs. Jake Jansen, Denver, Colo,: 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia.
