Louise passed from this life on December 18, 2013 in Folsom, California, with her children at her side. .
Louise, daughter of David and Dona Autry, was born in Concord, California in 1926, but spent most of her childhood and young adult life in Riverbank and Oakdale, California, graduating from Oakdale High School. She moved to Modesto as a young woman and married Marion W. Quessenberry in 1947. .
Her son, Michael Quessenberry was born in 1949, and daughter, Susan, was born in 1950. Although mainly a homemaker, Louise spent many years working for Sears Roebuck Co. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed gardening, playing golf with her many friends at Spring Creek Country Club, and playing bridge with several groups of friends. She also enjoyed volunteering at the McHenry Museum for a number of years. .
Louise was preceded in death by her husband Marion in 2002, and is survived by her children Michael (and Deborah) Quessenberry and Susan (and Daniel) Martin, her three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Most of Louise's extended family resides in the general Modesto/Oakdale area. .
Louise will be interred with her husband at Lakewood Cemetery in Hughson. Per her request, there will be no services..
