Devoted father of Joseph H. Reiss and his wife Donna of Tewksbury and John B. Reiss and his companion Tammy Robert of Englewood, FL.

Step-grandfather of Michael Ternullo of Tewksbury. Son of the late Joseph P. and Anna (Oelschleger) Reiss. Brother-in-law of Paul J. Barton of Brighton. Uncle of Steven Barton of Weymouth and Terry Barton of Alameda, CA.

Graduate of Boston College High School and Northeastern University.

Taught in the Dedham Schools for over 30 years.

WW II Veteran, U.S. Army. Member of the Dedham American Legion Post 18, Dedham K of C 235, and the Dedham Retired Mens Club.

Visitation in the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Tuesday 9:00-10:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 11:00 am.

Interment Old Calvary Cemetery, Roslindale.
