Rose Rollinger, 93, died Tuesday at a local nursing home. She was born April 5, 1886 in Ellensburg, a daughter of the late August and Anna Haberman. She and George Rollinger were married in 1919 and farmed in the Fairview District until retirement in 1943. They moved that year to their home on Brick Road.
Mr. Rollinger preceded her in death in January 1973. She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and the Jolly Neighbors Club.
She is survived by two brothers, John and George Haberman, both of Ellensburg. Rosary service will be Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Andrews Catholic Church. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Friday at 10 a.m., also a St Andrews. The Rev. Joseph Kenna will officiate and burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the St. Andrews building fund.
